Brad + Elana

Thank you so much for taking the time to read this. We know you have many choices in your search for a family, and we are grateful you are considering us. We want you to know that, as parents, we will love your child unconditionally every day of our lives.

About Brad

I was born in San Diego. I attended Cal State Fullerton in Orange County. My mother and father are both retired and enjoy spending time with their grandchildren. I have one sister and one brother. My sister and her husband have two kids (8 & 5) whom we spend a lot of time with. My niece and nephew are very excited to have a cousin. I have worked in the technology industry for 17 years. I enjoy spending time with my family, snow skiing, hiking, and most of all traveling. I have always dreamed of being able to walk through our front door and have my child run up to me and be excited daddy is home.

About Elana

I was born in Los Angeles. I have one younger brother, Steve. He is now married and has a little boy named Ben, whom we adore. He is two years old and calls me Aunie (for Auntie). I went to San Diego for college and stayed there for quite some time. I started teaching, and then moved to the Bay Area in 2009. I have now been teaching for 11 years, the last nine years in kindergarten. I am really enjoying that grade level. Some of my favorite things to do are reading, listening to music, laughing and traveling. I feel like I am a kid at heart, and cannot wait for the opportunity to teach, laugh with, and love a child of our own.

About Us

We are both from Southern California, but we met in the Bay Area. We both moved there for work. Thankfully, after Brad’s job change, we were able to move back home to San Diego, which is where we live now. Here in San Diego we live very close to the beach so we spend a lot of time there. We also love to see friends & family, watch movies, go out to dinner, and take short trips to Disneyland, Palm Springs, and Mammoth. Our absolute favorite thing to do is visit tropical locales like Hawaii, Mexico and the Caribbean.

We are very close to our families. We really enjoy hanging out with our nephews and niece, and we’ve been told they are anxiously awaiting some cousins.

Both of our parents have been together for over 40 years. They are extremely kind, loving and generous. They are wonderful grandparents and they would gladly welcome more grandchildren.

We know we would make great parents because we are both very caring, down to earth and we get along well with everyone. We are ready to shower a child with love and so ready to build our family.

Thank you so much for your time.
