Aeva grew up in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho and currently lives in the Malibu, California area. She is a law student at Pepperdine Caruso School of Law. Although Aeva always knew she wanted to go to law school, it was not until she heard Tamalani Barnett from the FamilyBuilding office speak to her 1L class that she felt a specific calling from the Lord to pursue adoption law.

Aeva received her Bachelor’s Degree from Westmont College in 2021 and plans to graduate from Pepperdine Caruso School of Law in 2024. At Pepperdine, Aeva is a member of the Dispute Resolution Law Journal, and has clinical experience assisting clients mediate divorce through the Jewish Divorce Assistance Center of Los Angeles. After law school, Aeva plans to move back to Idaho and practice adoption law.

Aeva and her husband, Brayden, enjoy skiing, cooking, traveling, and spending quality time with friends and family.
